Victoria Jordan has an academic background in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology and Medical Imaging. Her work is an exploration of the liminal space between the observed beauty of the natural world and the spontaneous translation of internal emotions. While the initial spark of inspiration is always rooted in nature - the rich, submerged blues of deep water, the mossy greens of a shadowed forest floor, or the unexpected glimmer of light on an exposed shard of rock - the creative process itself is governed entirely by intuition and therefore the truest expression of the Artist.

Victoria aims to bring the mundane and overlooked minutiae of the natural world around us to the forefront for proper observation. By looking at the individual elements of the work, the Viewer can bypass logic, evoke memory, and find emotional resonance that is both primal and authentic.
